An essential foundational course for study of electric circuits at any level. Learn how to state, explain, investigate, and perform calculations related to: - the effect of adding resistors in parallel on LED/bulb brightness and current strength in the main part of the circuit - the effect of position (in the main / branched part of a circuit) on current strength in a parallel circuit - current strength through parallel branches of various relative resistances - voltage (potential) changes across a parallel circuit - potential differences across resistors in parallel. You will apply what you learn to plan the wiring of a house according to a client's specifications, and perform calculations to demonstrate that your design will meet the specifications. This program focusses on developing both conceptual understanding of, and the ability to perform calculations for, parallel electric circuits.
